Fatal Crash: ID Released For Victim After Vehicle Hits Guardrail In Westchester

The identity of a man who died in a fatal crash on a parkway in Westchester has been released. 

The fatal crash happened on the Hutchinson River Parkway northbound in New Rochelle in the area of Exit 7 (New Rochelle Road).

Scarsdale resident David Douek, age 41, died on Friday, April 7, when his motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail around 4:30 p.m. on the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway in New Rochelle near Exit 7 (New Rochelle Road), according to Westchester County Police Department Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary.

Douek was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to police. 

The crash had temporarily closed the northbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway in the area of the crash on Friday.
